Look at this fantastic looking Reiver Sgt. Add some armor to the abdomen, most importantly fix the stupid legs, and you've got a lovely true scale marine in mk7 armor.

One thing I'm not sure about is the lower part of the leg armor that rests over the foot. Is it fixed in place or does it turn with the foot (up/down, vertically)? If it's the latter then simply filling in the gap between it and the top bit under the knee isn't going to cut it. What do you think?

They are pretty cool alright. GW have a serious problem with sculpting legs.

I like the grappling guns, but are they redundant with jump packs and teleporting?

Like ESX - Just Bare Metal.

I would just replace his legs entirely with something from the standard primaris marines and then shave off the trim on the kneepads. I don't think there's any way of saving the "Gundam legs".

I hate the kneepad trim. I suspect it won't be so easy as just shaving it off. What's behind it? Will you need to indent the recess where the pad joins the thigh armor?

Um can't you just use intercessors ?

I don't really like having every trooper with mk8 style collars, and the ones without the gap in the middle just look terrible imo. Then there's the kneepad trim as somebody mentioned. I'm not crazy about that extra armor on the backpack exhausts either.

Well you could just carve the kneepad off wholesale and sculpt on something else. Easier than trying to rebuild the legs entirely from the Reiver legs.

Plus if you mod it enough you could cast it instead of having to redo the same conversion over and over again.

EDIT: Alternatively, separate the Reiver's lower leg at the base of the knee and do the same to the Intercessor legs and attach it that way. That should avoid the trim.
