Subject: [2000] - Chaos Renegades - (Lots of cheese)
Hello, Dakka! Above is my 2000 (Technically 1186, we'll get to that) Chaos Renegades list.
We utilize a sizable screen of 120 Militia, all of whom are only 5+ WS/BS and a 6+ save, but through the Enforcers they only lose 1-3 on morale tests.
However, the true strength here comes from having 14 natural, full smite psykers. We have 14 Smites and 800+ Points to summon.
In fact, we have so many reserve points, turn one we can summon in The Changeling, and 3 full squads of pink horrors with an almost complete split of 20blue/brimstone each. Giving us another ablative 150 wounds against armies where becoming a larger horde is necessary. Alternatively, if we were to be facing an enemy horde, we could summon nearly 24 Tzeentch Flamers and melt them all with Daemon assistance. We can summon 9 Tzeentch Heralds to gain access to 23 total smites... the options are, essentially limitless. Due to having two Supreme Commands and a complete Brigade, we have 14 Natural CP, and are able to summon almost half an armies worth of units on top of our already very large horde we began with.
I have noticed a point of diminishing returns with them. Last night I played against a DE army. I smited his flyers to death, then he sat back out of range and shot my units iwth his ravagers, raiders, and venoms. I only got close enough to kill a ravager before the game was up. In that case, jumping to 10-14 lords would just have been a loss of effectiveness.
I do like the idea of using them for summoning...it's cool.

Show me the mo...dels. Either you have a huge collection of models, or this is a theory list. But if you DO have them, I would love to see this. Especially against 3 totally different armies.
10,000+ points
3000+ points

You could, but then you drastically reduce the amount of summoning you could do turn one. You also, by placing them inside the Valk, open them up to being shot at. Otherwise they're characters and can't be targeted.
Why the Renegade Commander, instead of another Malefic Lord? Yeah, I understand that you need him for the Covenant, but you should not want one! All you get is overwatch on a 5+ (with lasguns!), but you trade in a lot of flexibility (and one more Smite). If you DON'T have a Covenant, you can summon Deamons of any Chaos God, and that can be invaluable. For one, Slaanesh heralds work just as well as Tzeentch ones for additional Smites, but they cost 12 less points...
