I'm pretty new with AoS and i only know the lore through the few articles on Lexicanum. Thus, i wanted to ask you guys if the stormcast eternals have mages, in a similar way to librarian space marines from 40k. If yes, how do they work? Do they have the perils of the Warp too?

No, they do not have. They have priests, but when it comes to real magic they\d have to rely on the free people\s mages. There is no Perils mechanic in AoS ruleswise. I don't think I've read anywhere in the novels and campaign books/battletomes about an equivalent of Perils happening.
Stormcast priest lore (and gamewise) direct celestial energy to accomplish small to medium feats (like lightning bolts, healing etc.) and pray to Sigmar for large miracles. It may be said somewhere that even their smaller "spells" like lightning and healing are prayers, but I don't recall it myself.

As mentioned above there are no perils or anything in AOS. We have a houserule with perils though. It makes for an interesting change.

Think of them more as a force entirely of holy paladins of Sigmar, if it helps.

Its kind-of like celestial vs arcane magic from DnD. Both are magic, but they work in different ways.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
