I wanted to get feedback on something I've been kicking around in my brain for a while. I wanted to do something that resembled an old school demonhunters list, but at the same time had enough modern stuff about it to be at least semi-competitive, so here goes:
Castellan Crowe (GoI)
Grand Master w/ Falchion (Hammerhand / GoI)
10x GKSS w/ falchions, 2 psycannons, 1 daemon hammer
10x GKSS w/ falchions, 2 psycannons, 1 daemon hammer
Ven Dread with 2 TLAC

Tempestor Prime w/ command rod

5x Scions w/ 2 plasmaguns, plasma pistol
5x Scions w/ 2 plasmaguns, plasma pistol
5x Scions w/ 2 plasmaguns, plasma pistol
5x Scions w/ 2 plasmaguns, plasma pistol
5x Scions w/ 2 melta guns, plasma pistol
5x Scions w/ 2 melta guns, plasma pistol
Taurox Prime w/ HSVG, Gatling cannon
Taurox Prime w/ HSVG, Gatling cannon
So, theory is that I deploy plasma scions in the tauroxen. I also deploy the dreads. Finally, I deploy Crowe. This gives me 9 deep strikes. I plan on deep striking the GM, both GKSS (2-4 drops depending on combat squads), the two melta squads, and the primes. That should be 7-9 deep strikes, so I should be fine there. From there I GoI Crowe up to myself from wherever he is on the board,
and get him wrecking face. Tauroxen move up and drop passengers off asap, and the melta guns deep strike to go after high profile mech targets. So, basically, it play it like you would expect to.
I haven't heard of many people talking about making a combined force army like this, so I figured I'd see what the reaction was.
