So, it's fairly agreed right now that the Seeker Missiles are fairly underwhelming. A single mortal wound hardly justifies their cost and unreliability.
My proposition is that instead of being one time use, they can be used again and again, but...
-They can only be used with Markerlight Support. No more unguided snapshots.
-They're Heavy weapons.
-They're returned to their previous effect of S8 AP-2, instead of a mortal wound.
-Probably a points increase.

I'm unsure of how much damage they should be allowed to deal, but I'm leaning towards 1, and if they should be allowed to retain their shooting around corners ability.
Sky Rays would have to be retooled, and the Seeker Missile effect would probably be better at 3 Markerlight tokens instead of 2.

I think this would take something that's always been kind of niche, and often felt bad to use/waste, not to mention being currently weaker than ever, and instead make it a fun, interactive ability.
What do you guys think?

Markerlights only, changed to S8 AP -2, Heavy? They'd be fine without a points increase at that point. 2 damage, maybe?

Personally think just making them D3 mortal wounds would be the easy start.

Would make them an interesting Smite analogue, but this is less about making Seeker Missile balanced, as it is about taking something that's currently useless, and, instead of trying to tweak it, just outright replacing it with something identical/similar fluffwise, but with a completely new ruleset that makes it feel more interactive, fun, and rewarding.
