Our mad and benign ruler Will, has come up with a mad idea to do moderns in plastic... but I'm 10mm too! Not just 15mm and 20mm.

He has this mad idea for big forces of tanks, AFVs and infantry, all in plastic, in little 'units in a box' packages for Battlegroup Northag along with a huge game in a box with the rules and two armies...

We think he has finally lost the plot... but we'd be interested to know what you guys think of gaming Cold War big battles in 10mm plastic...

Isn't that the scale DZC uses? How affordable is PSC comparatively?

Yes please!

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

Based on the FB comments:

it's 33 / 33 / 33; favor 10mm / opposed 10mm / favor 6mm

I'd really rather they just make more 15mm WW2 kits, since they includes lots of options and a good deal more affordable than Battlefront.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

I think WWIII in 10mm makes a lot of sense, but I'm not sure they didn't miss that bus already. Most people playing Team Yankee are playing 15mm (unsuitable as it may be) while those who find the game in 15m too crowded are already moved to 6mm. I don't think significant numbers of either camp would be willing to switch to 10mm now.

But I could be wrong....

On this point I think you're correct. If you don't mind the biggly-bigness of 15mm, you're happy with that. If you didn't like it, you already moved on to 6mm. The idea of a self-contained box of "units" might be something new, but I think they'd just end up spreading themselves too thin.

That said, I do want those Leopards.
