So I got my hands on a high elf army and I'm unsure of how to paint them up. I like the white, but I'm unsure about the trim- blue and white feels boring. Do any of you know any alternative high elf paint schemes that could inspire me?

There was a gw book called; uniforms and heraldry of the high elves, decent amount of img of different schemes for high elfs in it.

apart from that i found one of my old test models for high elfs in the basment some weeks ago, maybe it triggers your inspiration.

I'd just make up a scheme that I like if I were you.

We haven't seen the Aelves in their new Realms yet.
If that's not enough though, as mentioned there was "Uniforms and Heraldry of the High Elves".

Silver with blue trim and red for the plumes the purest color scheme!

Went with white & a rich deep red for mine, trimmed with gold

Wouldn't be hard to reduce the red if you want more white as well.

Trick is it seems to have a 'warm white' with reds and a 'cold white' with blues etc

Can't go wrong with some bright colours/ regal schemes. Purples could go well, as well as white and green.

A white and Imperial Purple type scene was the other one I considered, but the purples I've got are pants.

A deep green and white is a scheme I'm doing some Japanese in, that would work very well on High Elves as well

I went for a more eastern approach, gold armour with a deep red for the cloth, black trim
