Beautiful blending going on there.

Honestly it's hard to find something to critique.
If I had to I'd say I'm not sure the blade being a matte black like the armour is a choice I'd have gone with - can't say it's poorly done, however.

Also - much improved over the official model, so, props there.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

I think you have a point. glowy green (like the eyes) to darker green might have worked better, so it stands out against the wings.

Cracking work there - love the conversion and paint job, although I confess I still like the original model and kaleidoscopic paint job to a degree.

I agree on the sword as well, you've done a great job on it but I think green would have worked better for the power sword itself.

Thanks for sharing

Nice work, and nice paintjob. Doesn't really scream "Phoenix Lord" to me -- just not quite special enough. I think the gun is a bit underwhelming. I think the sword gets lost against the wings (being far too similar in colour).

I think some kind of grilled face/nose/mask would have pushed this over the top.

What a great idea! I've been holding off on painting all of my phoenix lords, but this has given me so much inspiration! I think I might try to convert all of my phoenix lords as well!

Damn that is one nice mini.

I would like to echo the above and say that a contrasting colour for the sword would have made it stand out however it is nice to see cohesion across the whole model.

Execution is very, very good. Smooth and crisp. Lovely.
