So after a flurry of activity over the last few days we have seen GW answer quite a few long term fan requests.
We now have a new edition of 40k, AOS, bloodbowl, heresy and Lotr being actively supported.
We have Necromunda, Adeptus titanicus and (kind of) Battlefleet gothic announced.
We have warhammer fantasy roleplay, AOS roleplay and 40k roleplay announced.
We have a new miniature based ccg announced.
Aside from the obvious of reducing the price of everything, what would you like to see GW do next?
For me I would like to see Mordheim of course, but I would also like to see inq28 to become an officially supported game with a full range of plastic inquisitors and friends.

I think slowly they're heading back to the place they were at in the early 90's - lots of games, most based in their 2 core IP ranges. There are rumours of Dark Future returning, too!

I actually think the pricing is getting sensible again - the start collecting boxes are actually pretty good value, as are the boxed games (which drag you into the rest of the hobby). Keeping up with this strategy, coupled with actual discounts for larger sets will continue to drive growth.

Occasional sales would also help - in the past there were red-dot/yellow-dot sales (buy 2 red get a yellow free) as well as discount vouchers in white dwarf.

Finally, I think returning to the modelling workshop days in White Dwarf (scratch building with card / non-GW materials) with the option of buying GW-style detail parts (windows / doors / tile roof sections) would work in marketing the craft / tactile element of the hobby - something wargaming will always have over video games.

Hey, I can wish.

Edit: Also more 'pocket money' (sub £10) things to buy.

Really depends on how well specialist stuff sells once we've got more options.

Blood Bowl reputedly did really well sales wise. But then, Blood Bowl is an absolute classic of a game - and one few tried to copy at that. It also helps the price point is really good when you just need the basics - and far from bank breaking when you want to get your home stadium, star players etc.

Adeptus Titanicus? Well, that's another one where nobody really stepped into the market gap. And again, it's another classic GW Of Old. We've now got confirmation that at least some of it will be in plastic - which helps again with the entry price point.

But BFG? Well....there's at least a couple of serious competitors out there already. Whilst Armada hasn't had much impact in my local area, I understand it's pretty popular elsewhere. Whether GW can wrest its space combat crown back, who knows? Gonna be more of an uphill battle going forward, particularly as it's likely to be predominantly available for FW. That means people are less likely to see its full glory when randomly browsing. And that's another issue they'll face with Adeptus Titanicus. After all, few if any FLGS are going to push it if their slice of that pie is limited solely to the starter set.

There's definitely potential, and GW's makeover came at the right time for such a bold undertaking. But into the future, the upcoming games may not be such a simple 'if we sell it, they will come' affair.

Really hope they do similar FLGS availability for the other games - core set, basic teams/gangs/Titan/Ships, with only the optional spanglies being FW exclusive.

Dark Future I'd be all over as just a literal re-release.

Maybe an expansion to give textured plastic track sections and similar, keep the background as it was not trying to "40k" it.

BFG? never got into that, already had a vasty better space game (SFB) and one that handled vectored thrust better (Battle Rider), there are way too many space games out there.

Space Marine coming back with a proper scale so stuff looked right I could go for in a big way, I know they are looking at 8mm, personally think 10mm would have been better for the terrain out there but there you go
