On the fence for buying some more models, would love to hear some experiences on using them and how they played. Good combos for them as well?I have 400 points to play with and they guys are screaming for me to paint them!!!

They have performed admirably.
They have proven to be a huge thorn in my opponent's side as they are a huge threat but not easily dealt with.
With their -1 to hit plus 2+ armour in cover they take some killing.
Their weapons are awesome with the two modes of fire making them super flexible. Flame mode makes them an unpleasant proposition to charge, and once in there fly means they can leave combat and still be effective. They are mobile and their leadership benefits are a handy boost. Their only downside is their cost. But you gotta pay for the awesome.

They combo well with eldar and ynnari psychic. They are a great target for word of the Phoenix or soulburst. They are exceptional with guide or to a lesser extent the autarch buff/ancestors grace. Shooting at doomed targets mitigates the drop in effectiveness of Str 6 in this edition. And finally conceal makes them even more difficult to kill.

I run mine with warp spiders, shining spears, hemlocks and skyrunner warlocks as a difficult to hit flanking force. They pack a punch so can't be ignored but shooting at any of the hemlock, spiders or spectres is -2 to hit making it an unfavourable prospect.
