Could also be called "TimeToWaste85's dream movie". Anyone else excited for this? Kinda cool they have Jason Statham as the lead. Has anyone else read the books? I got through the first two and almost finished the third. Quite fun, and there's an actual attempt for scientific terminology. Greatly looking forward to the movie and I gotta tell the wifey that we're going to the movies Aug 10th next year!

As a major megalodon fan, this is gonna be awesome!!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I'm actually about 3/4th through the audiobook of the first in the series.

I've been on this weird streak of ocean/water based horror books, starting with "The Terror", which is a historical fiction novel about the lost (and recently rediscovered irl) HMS Terror and then "Below" which is about a group of Humbolt squids attacking humans, then "The Fisherman" which is more Lovecraft than Jaws. Now I'm on Meg.

Despite Syfy's best efforts, there have been some solid Shark movies released in the past few years. I'm not too optimistic on this one to be honest though.

So, the movie sounds stupid - a surviving Megalodon - but it's the kind of stupid I absolutely love.

The real surprise it's it's managed to snag a pretty legit cast. I'm pretty excited.

I thought it was going to be a movie about Meg from Family Guy.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.
