Warhammer fans have plenty to look forward to as HMO announces an official partnership with Games Workshop to produce a line of amazing Warhammer 40,000 statue collectibles.

The most iconic of Warhammer 40,000 characters brought to life with this collaboration, and the fantasy of seeing your favourite characters in high definition detailed large scale will now become reality. You can expect greatness true to the original source art as the HMO creative team (behind sold-out collectibles like Ren and Capcom's Mega Man X) works closely with the Games Workshop team!

The new line boasts some serious action in 1:6 scale dioramas of defining Warhammer 40,000 scenes. "The optimal scale of 1:6 in diorama form will allow us to bring the best elements of Warhammer 40,000, which include the dynamism and clash between the characters, to the fan's desk," said Mr Mufizal, HMO's lead of the Creative Team.

We are extremely excited to show you what we have been working on and updates will be coming to you very soon.

Which thread has the pics? I've got no interest in the ridiculously filigreed RobbyG outlined above.

Initially? Yeah, probably... because not doing so would be stupid since these things are likely to be quite pricey. Like it or not, they're the highest selling faction and the most iconic and easily recognizable. That doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to see an Imperial Guardsmen Kasrkin offered or an Eldar Ranger or a Tau battlesuit eventually.

Did this mean that GW has finally embrace scale creep without reservations?

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

We'd have to put them side by side next to the old forgeworld and sideshow statues to find out. I expect these new ones to be primaris as well so that factors into it.

A Dark Eldar Incubus or Wych would be welcome on my desk/display case.

I'd love a Guard one too, but it'd likely be a Cadian which is bleh. If they did Steel Legion or DKoK I'd be all over one of those.

That wouldn't be very family friendly, though, would it?

Now I have to go google what sodding means in British slang since it doesn't appear to mean pooping as I initially suspected.

This could be interesting depending on what they choose but I'd still prefer they pair up with Figma or Figuarts and go in that direction.

None of those are characters... there aren't very many "iconic" characters outside of space marines. Eldrad is probably the only eldar that even remotely qualifies. Ghaz is it for Orks. Yarrick for guard or a very small maybe for Creed. You need to take a very long look at the fluff and you'll find those characters all the way back in 2nd Ed when the first fluff reboot happened (rogue trader isn't modern canon).

That's really it for non space marines.

What's funny is that Abaddon still probably won't get a model.

I think you're selling Eldar short. The Phoenix Lords are each quite iconic. The avatar is quite iconic. If anything, the SM are more generic. We'd probably see a generic SM in terminator armor, probably a chaplain because edgy sells. May as well make it a Dark Angels chaplain for extreme edginess. Then a Chaos Sorcerer and Lord in Terminator armor.

Kind of blushing thinking of a big Lelith.

Quite a bit larger than Ken dolls if 1:6 scale is correct. An 8' tall Space Marine will be 16" tall in in 1:6th scale. Guilliman? Magnus? F'ing huge!

Do we know any prices on these things?

There are TONS of characters they could use... Talos and 10thclaw, Gaunt and all of his crew and guest stars in his books like the warmaster, general van voytz etc etc etc, MECHANICUS!!!!!! Skitarii, Secutarii, Magos lords, servators, different guard regiments like the Elysians, Harkoni warhawks, Cadians, Kasarkin, Eldar aspect warriors, phoenix lords, harlequins, Tau fire warriors, all the different suits, Chaos soooo soo sooo much variety there from daemons, to mortals to chaos marines, orks.....

Civilian imperials would be amazing also, Inquisitor retinues so much diversity there, Rogue Traders... og the imagination is just going wild here.

I would LOVE to see some Mechanicus stuff, Titan Princeps, Moderati, Titan Tech Priests, Secutarii, Skitarii, A Princeps in a amniotic casket ( like the Legio Invicta Proximus-pattern Warlords).

To bad we will get Marines....UltraMarines, blue marines and moar marines.... maybe some red, or yellow, or red fisted, or blue-grey ( I prefer grey space wolves personally not the bluey grey ones), or black or green marines. But if I had to place money on it, blue marines with upside down Omega's painted on their pauldrons at first.

There aren't very many iconic characters period. In Space Marine, Marneus Calgar could maybe be considered iconic. And even him, not that much. Warhammer 40k has plenty of iconic stuff, but most of those ain't characters, more soldiers and warmachines and monsters. All those space marines characters are mostly interchangeable…

And Shadowsun and Farsight and Saint Celestine and Lelith Esperax and Asdrubael Vect and…
