I... actually don't know. Help?

Last year I came second! I have a silver medal from last years Armies on Parade and you know what? It looks lonely. I want a new one, and that's why I actually planned a bit before starting the display board this year, which I definitely didn't do last time.

So I'm doing this years entry on a slightly smaller 50x50 IKEA Lack frame, mostly because I didn't find any 60x60 frames and I didn't want to use styrofoam as a base yet again.

Pictures:

I have applied the sand, right now I'm waiting for it to dry, hopefully I'll be able to buy a spray paint or something to paint the sand itself.

Here's the structure I'll have on the flatter city-part of the board. I'm thinking of it like a toll booth for the highway or something similar that has been bombed to pieces.

Colour scheme of the Primaris + his head. I don't know, I'm really proud of that head, I managed to somewhat emulate my own hair colour and I actually painted the teeth properly!

The Grey Hunter scheme. These guys'll be joined by six more (you can see one of them in the background) and will be painted a bit less nice than the Primaris. I won't do highlights on these except for on sharp corners, some light blending on the pads and metal parts, but the Primaris will be painted with full highlights since they're supposed to be the 'centerpieces' of my army.

The ones I want to have on the board. Now the plan is to have at least a Grey Hunter squad + Rhino, 5 Primaris Intercessors and a Dreadnought, and then I'll add whatever I have time to paint. Sounds good, right? I have what, 2 months?

So, wish me luck. I'll need it!
