Hi, i played warhammer fantasy like 15 years ago. However it started itching so I bought some 40k units and started painting. It's basic and guess i am somewhat new in this but I am very curious if this is okish and if you have some tips. Started out with some orks and a few space marines. Thought for the orks red and the white black blocks are nice. Looking forward to your feedback!

You're off to a fantastic start!

I love orks as you can purposely (or unintentionally) make them look a bit "ragged" and it's O.K.

^ 'Cause they're orks!

Seriously though, real nice start to an army!

BLAH BLAH....blah.

Thanks, great to hear! Indeed like the rough look and variation with the Orks. Still need to finalize some models from the black reach set. Also bought a battlewagon and a lemon russ tank for conversion. So enough to do the coming week

Great start!

Can i suggest drilling out the barrels of your guns.

And maybe a little typhus corrosion or somethong on the metal?

These look great, very-well done for getting into the hobby (again). Its worth checking out some of the tutorials on the Warhammer TV YouTube page for some further techniques to bring your painting up a level, but from what I can see you've got some solid models there - keep it up!

Good tip. Bought a hand drill via ali Express, was struggeling what to do with the tips of the gun, for now painted a bit blackish.
