Hello and good evening all, so next weekend, I will be having a game of 7th edition 40k with a friend. I will be using my 30k Death Guard army, and whilst I realise I will most likely get curbed into the ground, came up with a list using some models I have not had chance to try yet (Morty).

Would love any feedback or comments or suggestions on essentially how to possibly survive the certain onslaught coming my way

Cheers

Personally, I would drop the combi-bolters on the sergeants and remove the armored ceremite on the tanks if you'e confident that your opponent will not be bringing any Fire Dragons (are there any other Eldar units with melta? I can't remember.) I would then drop the Lascannon dudes and pick up a full 10-man unit with Missile Launchers.

You don't appear to have anything which ignores cover or (whoops, the sicarian...) has the 'barrage' rule - the opponent could quite easily hide from everything you have during your turn shooting and then hit your line like a thrown hammer.

On that basis i'd say you need a whirlwind scorpius, some quad mortars and maybe (i end up recommending thses things so often its not funny) an anvillus pattern dreadclaw drop pod - i bought one specifically to screw with an opponent who played nothing but eldar at the time. (The heat blast attack is always resolved on the weakest armour facing so the wave serpent sheild couldn't tone it down to a glance when it gave a pen from deepstrike)

The Ordo Reductor - the guy's who make wonderful things like the Landraider Achillies, but can't use them in battle..
