So the local card shop finally became a certified games-workshop retailer! So to celebrate I deiced it was time to start a second army since he didn't get in any Dark Eldar lol! I have been looking at Space wolves for a while and really like how they look. So in honor and seeing how they only had one box of space wolves I am starting with the Fenrisian Wolves!

The basing is done with wood putty, and then broken up pieces of bark, and some vermiculite. The wood parts fell apart pretty easy into these nice easy to manage smaller parts. So I put them into place with the putty, then gave them a healthy dose of watered down extra strength PBA . After 4+ hours of drying time they were all ready for primer. The primer is still a bit wet in the picture but I will leave it over night to dry before I touch them again. That way the primer has plenty of time to lose any tacky nature.

To get my kids into painting with me I will help them with painting two of these wolves. Should be fun

After these are all done I will also need to build some scenery that matches the basing for the battle field.

The basing does a great job of adding dynamic posing.

Looking good. You've achieved some really dynamic posing with the basing.

Sorry I haven't posted on this in a bit. I did another coat of primer underneath the pups, so it has a good coat on it and is ready to start the fun part of the painting. But after a good game with my Dark Eldar vs Blood Angels. We realized that we are in need of some good terrain. Mostly because I keep completely slaughtering his BA. So we need to build more things to break up the line of site. So these are WIPs of Terrain in progress.

The building is my pride and joy at this moment. I am hoping to get crazy details going with the building.
Base is 1 foot by 1 foot.

The Tank will have a control panel built in front of the long side. Then pipes running to the tank its self. And then a larger tube coming from the tank into the ground.
The floor panel squares are made to be 10 feet by 10 feet using a 28mm scale.
