Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Lol Relic. Good joke. And they even said esports again. I guess they want another ass whipping after Dawn of War 3 or something. They really didn't learn anything. I think with each game released they learn less and less. Predicted metacritic to be lower than Dawn of War 3 mark my words.
Espots is big money so its no surprise that they keep chasing it. Get it right and you have a breadearner for the company for years.
I hope they move away from the ideas presented in the third game. I disliked the whole notion that you had to upgrade each faction's home-port through multiple games to get to play a faction at " full strength". I generally dislike that approach in RTS games because it means that unless you play a LOT over all factions you're always left with a handicap or just not at full strength or just not at the "full experience."
Sadly RTS is pushing more and more toward online and the esports genre. That and it seems that AI has kind of stalled in advance; they don't seem to be all that much smarter than they were decades ago. So many RTS games the AI still just builds up a standard base and then funnels units toward your main base along the same attack pathways. Some still build up attack waves with such perfection and predictability that you could also set your watch to when the next attack might come (or at least it feels like it).
