About a month ago I bought several paints from the store, and just today I decided to pop open one of my base paints (Rakarth Flesh). When I went to dip, i was... surprised. Instead of smooth paint, I saw a solid block. It's not dried out or separate from the medium, it just looks... spongy. After prodding it and trying to mix it I ended up with something akin to dry paint, but I still can't get any pain from it. At this point, it resembles cottage cheese regarding consistency. As much as I would like to get a refund I threw out the receipt already, does anyone know if I can salvage this somehow? Many thanks in advance!

Consider it a $5 lesson. If you are going to use GW paint, check them before you leave the store.

Have you tryed going to the store and explain? If you are nice and polite enough they might let you exchange it anyway.

If there are more stores in your town selling the product they might wanne compete on customer service. If there are not more stores in your aria they might think it sound strange that you magically prodused it.

My local store has the best customer service.

you can try mixing it up, adding lahmium medium, but tbh almost every rakarth flesh pot I've bot has seemingly had the same issue. Some of the GW paints seem more prone to this than others, I dunno why. Just my experience with them.

I would take it back to the store, even without the receipt. Worse case, you're out a pot. But definitely check the new one if they do replace it for you. While they're watching would be my advice.
