Hi guys,
I'm planning at some point in the future to start a grey knight army with a grand master in nemesis dreadknight as the warlord, I already have the plan to convert it so it looks more like a dreadnought rather than a baby carrier but I'd also like to give it a two handed hammer, does anyone know what sort of thickness and material I should use for the haft?
Thanks

Would Plasticard Rods work for the Haft, on the Hammer?

Maybe this

My Modelling skills are limited :p but it might work

Styrene tubing or rod in the 3mm or 1/8" range is a better fit for the haft of the hammer than 2mm.

For a 2 handed hammer, you will probably want to extend the bottom of the haft (UNDER the hand) rather than the bit above it). This can be pinned (if rod) with a bit of wire, or with thinner plasticard rod if using tubing.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Thanks, I think I will probably use the hand holding the original hammer and drill through the opposite fist using a rod for the full haft, I'll probably replace the hammer head with something larger too so I might have to get creative there
