I am just getting back into the hobby and the list below is what I have so far for it. I am curious as to what would be a good expansion? I have the Khorne from the starting kit I have the box set for the Slaughter Host and I have the 4 units from the Gorechosen + an additional slaughter priest.

I'm personally expanding from Bloodbound with some Slaves of Darkness allies to get some speed from Chariots and Cavalry.

Just take Gore Pilgrims and do whatever else you want, you'll be set to figure things out from there.

as said above first complete your gore pilgrims, that formation is ridiculously powerful.

After that I would consider getting something like a bloodthirster or slaughterbrute. that way you will have a very cool center piece that is feared by your opponents.

I'm new to AoS myself and am more pointing this out for clarity - aren't you only able to take one artefact? Unless you have warscroll battalions in which case you can take an extra one for each of those?
