League start is September 9th. There will be a Draft Party held on Sept. 9th at The Tilted Kilt to draw divisions and give awards from last Masters. The Drawing will start at 6:30pm. It is not mandatory to be present at the draft, however you will have some control over which division you are placed in if you do show up. Draft results placed at http://challonge.com/masterswinter17 and on Facebook. An email will also be sent.

Tournament Structure:
• Players will be split into divisions.
• Players will play games to qualify for either the Gold or Silver playoff brackets.

• The top players from each division will advance to the Gold bracket
o Each division winner will earn a bye for the first round, as Player numbers allow.
• The remaining Players can qualify for the Wildcards into the Gold bracket
o The highest scores of all remaining players will fill these Wildcard spots.
• All remaining players from each division will be placed in the Silver bracket
o All players that did not qualify for Gold Bracket will be in the Silver bracket
o If player numbers allow for it, the top Player(s) in Silver may receive a bye.

Event Fees:
Entry will be a $40 entry fee. If you fail to complete any of your games you will forfeit your chance for the prize pool. Exceptions will be made for players that actively made attempts to get their games scheduled and were not responsible for the failed matches. Players must contact the Tournament Organizer (TO) after first attempt to get their match in fails. The rescheduling of matches will be monitored by the TO.

Divisional Match Play:
Your first round of games will be played against your divisional counterparts that are drafted at the Draft Party. The draft results will be placed at http://challonge.com/masterswinter17, on Facebook in the Masters Group page and in an email that will be sent to every single player in the league. You may play these division games in any order. You will have 2 weeks to play each game. One of the things the TO will look at for your forfeit determination will be your progress.
Players will be ranked within their division based on a system similar to the World Cup:
• Win = 3 Points
• Tie = 1 Point
• Loss 0 Points
Tie breakers will be done in the following order:
1. Head-to-Head Results
2. Total Battle Points Earned
3. Total Battle Point Differential
Playoff Match Play:
Once divisional play is complete and the playoff qualifiers are set, you will have up to 2 weeks to complete each playoff game. We hope this will go faster but we are making sure there is plenty of time. Playoff matchups will be posted and emailed as soon as they become available.

Gold Bracket Specifications:
• Top 3 Players From Each Division Qualify
• Top Wildcard Players, Highest Total Scores, Qualify for Gold
• Single Elimination Playoff games
• Semi-Finals & Finals Will Be Best of 3 games
• Division Winners Receive First Round Byes (if Player numbers allow)

*** BATTLE-POINTS FOR THE GOLD PLAYOFFS WILL BE DOUBLED FOR THE PURPOSES OF BEST OVERALL AND THE REMEMBRANCER

Silver Bracket Specifications:
• All non-Gold bracket Qualifying Players From Each Division Qualify for Silver
• Single Elimination Playoff games
• Semi-Finals & Finals Will Be Best of 3 games
• No Byes Are Awarded unless Player numbers allow

Submitting Results:
Lists must be typed and printed in hard copy and exchanged at the beginning of each game by both players. The final result must be emailed or text to the TO after each game with final scores.

Paint score submission is the responsibility of any Player trying to go for BEST OVERALL or THE REMEMBRANCER . A paint score sheet link will be sent to all players through email plus a link will be place in the Facebook group for a google drive download of this score sheet. The Player who would like their paint score recorded must email or text a screenshot of this sheet filled out and SIGNED by their opponents when submitting final game score.

Mission Structure:
Players will randomly determine which mission they will play from the ITC Mission or NOVA OPEN offerings and report scores based on that format. Players at time of their game can either agree on a mission or agree to roll from a set of missions, either ITC or NOVA. If Player can not agree on a mission or set of mission randomly roll a d2, or flip a coin, to pick which set to random roll off on. Links to these mission can be found online and will be sent with division draft email.

Army List Construction:
For the most part, army list construction rules for this format will follow ITC guidelines.

However, there are a few items that this format will stray from the above guidelines:

• Points: 2000
• Declaring a Primary Faction: Players must declare their Primary faction at sign-up and stay with that throughout the tournament. Imperium will not be an option to pick. You must define one of the Codex Imperium factions as your Primary. If you select Space Marines as your Primary you must select a chapter to stick with as your Primary Faction
• Primary Faction MUST be in Primary Detachment: Primary detachments must consist of the player’s chosen Primary Faction AND you must have the HIGHEST point of these models in your list every game.
• Your Warlord MUST come from your Primary Faction
• Changing Lists: Players can alter their lists every game as long as the list remains to be legal and the Primary Faction does not change.
• Number of Detachments Allowed: Players may take up to 3 total detachments.
TOURNAMENT RULES AND FAQ:
The Masters Grand Tournament will follow the Main Rulebook, GW FAQ and the ITC FAQ with the follow exceptions:

Up for voting:
• First floor blocks LOS YES/NO?
• ITC Power level restriction YES/NO?
* These following rules are up for vote at the Division drawing event.
** If either of these would change your Primary Detachment choice you may change after voting.

MODELING & PAINTING:
• There are NO painting requirements on GW models as long as they are fully assembled with the proper bases.
• ALL MODELS MUST BE WYSIWYG
• Conversions & Scratch Built models MUST be fully assembled, close to the actual size, and painted to a minimum of 3 colors and based. These models MUST also be approved by the TO prior to using in this event.

RAFFLE TICKETS & PRIZES:
Raffle tickets will be awarded throughout the league and be used at the end of league awards to win prizes. You may put your raffle tickets into any of the prizes up for raffle to help your chances of winning a prize you want.

How to earn raffle tickets:
• Finish all your games – 5 tickets
• Post photos of a game along with game results on the Masters Facebook group – 1 ticket per game
• Post a Battle-Report write-up of your game on the Masters Facebook group – 1 ticket per game
*** We have over $600 worth of raffle prizes to raffle off during this awards ceremony for last Masters and I am work hard to get this number even higher with this upcoming Masters.

BEST OVERALL & THE REMEMBRANCER:
Both of these prize categories may be won by a Player that may or may not be in the Gold bracket. They follow their own scoring as follows:
