Are there currently any rules or weapon configurations that let you "legally" use those Knight parts? (Sorry, I'm a bit behind the times...)

They look fantastic, especially the breacher shield!

Damn it, I've literally just started converting the Plain shield and he's bringing out a scythe? need to make another order

As far as rules go, no, they're alternate sculpts for existing weapons and you'll need to counts-as them (Lance or Buzzsaw as Reaper Chainsword, for example).

Taro's new stuff is up, he's changed how the CCW arms are done so you can buy the heads and base set seperately

Wow man.. really impressive stuff. That Notbringer is a bit too symmetrical/static for my taste.. but everything else is really cool. The barrier thing is ingenious. I've not got a Knight just yet but I'll have this bookmarked for when I do.

Looks really good, and is thankfully not super-overdone like most of the GW and aftermarket parts. Nice work.

I've had the very same idea about embedding wire into resin to make smashed up concrete pillars and the like (not to mention the dozens, or possibly, hundreds of photos I have taken of those things for reference) so it's very cool to see the idea isn't so mad after all, I like those a lot.

Meh.
The parts that come with GW kit look way cooler than these.
Other parts just look too oversized, too out of place.

They fit a lot better than a lot of other 3rd party conversion bits.

Picked up a circular saw and back banner set.

Some of us really, really, really, hate the idea of building a full resin one of these, so the idea of having one that's mostly plastic (and has a way cooler shield, IMO) is very appealing.

Yeah I totally get that. But the size difference between the two is quite large. Will count of how your group/Local TO's/ect feels about that will be a big factor.
(Images spoiler tagged for size)

Spoiler:

The Dream Forge 28mm scale Levithan is spot on for the Cerastus Knights.
Spoiler:

(They are cheaper then the base GW plastic knight to boot.)

Personally I just see these as cool variant weapon choices, and options for upgrading the basic knight paladin/errant you might of bought before the warden sprue came out. Witch is awesome. It's also a way to get your two Gatling Cannons for the Chaos Knights. I would personally love to get one of thows lance and Board Knights to run as a knight gallant

So Taro needs to create some leg inserts to add an inch to the normal Knight then?

I very much like those missile launchers, ideal for tarting up old Knights Errant to add extra dakka...

Hey, in my 1st post I super conceded that some people/groups/TO's will be totally ok with the size difference. That's totally Valid, and I'm not going to tell you/your group/TO how to model. That's between you and your local community/play group.

I was just commenting that the size difference is enough that I could see people taking issue with running them as cerastus class knights, so I wouldn't just ASSUME everyone is going to be ok with that. Please don't take offence, but it would be comparable to running a Castraferrum Dreadnought with converted weapons as a Contemptor Dreadnought. "Close enough" for some people, to big a difference for others.

Like I mentioned, I would just run the Spear and Board knight as a counts-as knight gallant. Even if they aren't great rule wise, they are fun combat loons all the same.

This is pretty cool stuff but is there any intent on doing cosmetic stuff like alternate shoulder/knee/leg armor like Forge World did with the House Terryn upgrade kit?
