Some of these polls are pretty antique at this stage.
Should we shut a few of them and start them back up again or at least just run them for a given term depending on subject. An annual auto refresh or repost or give voters a vote per year?
An annual 'How do you feel about or What's your favourite ....?' would be far more valuable information.
I'm sure a lot of users will have changed their minds over time on quite a few subjects.
Inflation alone over five years at 5% will have thrown out any cost based polls by 25%.
Also some established games/armies/paint colours etc have had a huge head start making it impossible for newer options to rise to the top.

The best thing will be to open it up to public posting for a period, then close it again and moderate out the crappy polls. Before that, I need to expire all existing polls though which takes a little bit of time that is not available at the moment.
