So I just finished binge watching the last season of Bojack and I have to say it's currently one of my personal trifecta of top adult cartoon shows on right now, alongside Rick and Morty, Archer/Venture Bros. It's interesting how the show has advanced beyond focusing just on Bojack, I mean he's missing during the whole season premiere. I was sort of wondering where they would go with Bojack to avoid repeating too much of the same issues that he's had in the previous season and I'm pleasantly surprised to see how organically they've introduced Hollyhock into Bojack's life and brought his mother back as well.

What are your thoughts?

Personal highlights for me include:

- the sheer absurdity that is clown dentists and what they end up doing with them in the woods.

- the episode "The Old Sugarman Place" and the way they juxtapose the past with the present. It's very reminiscent of plays like Tenessee Williams "The Glass Menagerie"

- I really enjoyed the animation style of Bojack's inner monologue and consciousness

- Jessica Biel as a fire cultist, didn't see that one coming

Spoiler:
I like how they revealed that Bojack is her half-brother rather than her father, since it completely changes the dynamic and makes it less likely that Bojack will repeat the mistakes of the past and really give him something new to work on. I do however feel pooped that Princess Carolyn seems to have lost one of her few chances at a legitimately non-toxic relationship where for once she's the one who's the unreasonable one in the situation.
