Who're your Favorite Characters from the time of the Horus Heresy and 30k that aren't any of the Primarchs (the Primarchs are cool but there are plenty of other characters worth noting). I'm Personally a Big Fan of Sevetar of the Night Lords, I also like Alexis Polux, Garviel Loken, Kor Phareon, Nassir Amir, and Thamatica.

Kharn, such a nice guy that fella.

Azhek Ahriman. Definitely someone cool to hang with.

Tybalt Marr, Loken, Garro, Little Horus, Sigismund, Sevetar.

Kroger. Oh and Kharn , especially after reading about him pre-Khorne, how he was actually a mollifying influence on Angron and his comrades for the most part

Kargos is also pretty cool, so is Delvarus, kinda weird that the most likeable characters in the heresy series are the "bad guys"

Ahriman is a very interesting character. I'm reading A Thousand Sons now, and I did not expect that it would follow from his point of view many of the chapters. I'm glad it does though, as he is a great character to follow, and it makes understanding the Thousand Sons much easier.

He's also fun in-game. Great HQ choice.

Calleb Decima and Inar Satarael - both the pinnacle of the hardcore survivor demeanour; both given up for dead by their colleagues and enemies and both returned with a vengeance to become more powerful than ever.

Kharn, Garro & Lokien.

I really like Loken. I didn't know much about any of 30K lore other than the Emperor, Horus and Sanguinusdies coming into starting to read the Horus Heresy novels, and Loken's character immediately captured my imagination in the opening trilogy.

I also really liked Kasper Hawser by the end of Prospero Burns, even though I remember coming into the novel finding his character dull and uninspiring. Similarly, Lemuel Gaumon of A Thousand Sons just turned out to be a really endearing sorta guy in a very human kinda way.

Iacton Qruze, because he's a crotchety old Luna Wolf longing for the "good old days".

Saul Tarvitz, because his actions at Istvaan III earn him the "Brofistius" award.

Zahariel, because his inner struggles and dealings with the Watchers in the Dark make for awesome reading.

Luther, because he really does think he's doing what is best and makes a very compelling argument for his actions.

Calas Typhon, because he's a shady fella who does what he wants to and gives no gaks what his Primarch thinks.

Rho-mu 31, because he is a loophole-exploiting bro-bot.

Also, I forget his name, but the Skall who narrates the Fall of Prospero was a pretty cool character. If only because I can identify more with him that with the superhuman Astartes. He had some really cool moments as well, such as his altercation with those baseline human soldiers, and he starts to realize just how far the Space Wolves have modified him.

Nykona Sharrowkyn. I enjoyed everything about him, especially the absolute unapologetic smackdown he laid on Lucius.

Argel Tal.

Model wise - Sevatar.

Eidolon. Beautiful model and was a joy to paint. Plus, I like his story.
