As in the new GHB the pitched battles say that they replace all victory conditions in the age of sigmar rules does this mean that:

You do not win if you wipe your opponent?
The game does not end if you wipe your opponent? (So you get to score until the end of turn 5)

Just want to make sure... As this would be completely the opposite from 40k..

Depends on the Battleplan/scenario you're playing, really. The main thing is the Sudden Death stuff is not in Matched Play and Triumphs work very differently.

I am talking about the Pitched battle battleplans for matched play.

They all say under victory
Do not use any of the victory conditions on the Warhammer age of Sigmar rules sheet.

So my question is does that resolve to:
You do not win if you wipe your opponent. (I think this one is pretty clear, but I ask to be sure as it is different in 40k)
The game does not end if you wipe your opponent. (So one player gets to score until the end of turn 5 if the other player conceeds/is wiped)

Yes to both questions.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Thanks. I thought so but wanted to make sure. Must say that I find this way much more elegant then in 40k.
