Had a ‘Talk Like a Pirate Day’ game!

40k Orks, human pirates and Banebrood (beastmen) fighting each other and dangerous wildlife for treasure, loot and glory.

It’s a random fun game that we all enjoyed. It was a 1000pts free-for-all with four players.

Here’s a link to the game below. There’s batrep options for a short video or pictures and text version.

Cheers chickenbane! Glad you liked it

Indeed... I like to cover both bases with regard to video/pics batreps, but to be honest, it was not a normal battle report video. It was more like a highlight reel/comic with dramatic music that goes for 6-7 min. I tailored it so people who don't like long videos would get some enjoyment out of it

...though those who like to see the nitty gritty tactics/finer details would be not as interested in it. That's them dice at the end of the day - everyone has different tastes.

Great battle. I just can't get into the ultra-competitive mindset that many people have for tabletop games, especially ones as unbalanced as40k normally is. I love the strategy aspect of war games but you can't take it too seriously. I love to see a game like this with great (well-painted) miniatures and a table that brings it all to life. Good job!

(And I also prefer photo battle reports.)
