The main reason I ask is to confirm if the slaanesh herald combined with intoxicating elixir (+1 str and + 1 attack) would allow a daemon prince to become strength 9? DPs have to choose a chaos god it owes allegience to and is also a daemon.

Heralds of slaanesh from chaos index give me +1 str within 6" to friendly slaanesh daemons. I got the idea after reading the DP aura also affects friendly daemons from the same god. ( 8 str 9 attacks if given malefic talons)

Why wouldn't they? nothing has chnaged in that regard
