so me and my friend are playing a simplified version of 40k called battle for vedros
However the simplified rules only exist for the models in the starter set and a couple extra

Could you guys help us come up with some stats and rules for an ork trukk Burnas, lootas, killa kans, deff dread
The only ork vehicle with rules is a wartrakk, and the space marines have rules for a heavy weapons marine, dreadnought for the walkers and a flamer to use as a base for ork units

I get than I'm asking for a lot here, but I obviously don't expect rules for all of them at once, if you have any ideas for a good rule/stats for any model please say

Like I said I'm playing a simplified version so i don't know much about the actual rules so I apologize for any noob mistakes or questions
Also this may be in the wrong forum, hard to define this one but I am asking you to propose rules

I don't know what the basic rules are, fully. That'd be needed to help you.

I mean, literally all this is are just simplifications of those units rules in 40k, based on their standard wargear, so you could just look at the ork codex and do the same thing. That being said, if you want to play those other units, your best bet would really be to just play 40k. Battle for Vedros was never really intended to extend further than what's in the box, or to be a scaled down version of 40k in general, just to be a quick start introduction to the game.

Coming up with rules is really hard, because all of the basic units are so, for the lack of a better term, in-bred. Like, they don't use an AP system, which means that any weapons that have an AP need a special rule saying that saves can't be taken against that weapon. But then there's another problem, because Terminators are supposed to be able to take saves against rockets, but since there's no AP system, the Terminators have to specifically say that they still get their save against Rockets.
Dreadnoughts, meanwhile, need a rule saying they can only be harmed by a Warboss's Power Klaw or a Deffkopta's Rockets.

You'd really need to redo the system from the ground up if you wanted to add more stuff to it, because the system is so tightly constricted as to be completely non-malleable.

Isn't it simpler to take the whole 40k game, then make that a bit simpler? I do that with my 5 year old son. We play 40k, with simplified rules. And as time progresses and he understands the rules we have, I just make it a tad more complicated by adding another 'real' rule.
