A local radio station has an anuual Pre-posterous Statement tournament. It is basicaly an elimination bracket. All year, they hold onto and ominate Pre-posterous Statements made on their station, and have a series of judges narrow it down to 24 statements. They then compete and get voted on head-to-head each day until only two "champions" remain. Then, the listeners vote and decide the winner.

The person that said the most preposterous satement for the year gets bragging rights and a T-shirt. Typically, the statement then goes on a T-shirt the station sells at the State Fair or something.

After reading a lot of OT threads, we really need that here. Perhaps it could be an update to Dakka OT Bingo? I have a feeling I would have a few nominations in that list. However, I have a feeling being nominated would be a rule #1 violation.

Do any of your local radio stations do something similar?
