Hello all!

After lurking for some time I've decided to finally join Dakka. I got into Warhammer 40k when a friend bought me the Start Collecting Eldar for Christmas last year, and since then I've inspired another friend to pick up his old Dark Eldar and start playing again. So far I've really only played against the two of them and another player, which means I've only played against Dark Eldar, Space Marines and Imperial Guard. There are many more players locally though, so I'm sure I'll be playing against other armies soon enough.

I hope I can contribute to the community in a meaningful way!

I've been reading a lot in the tactics section, even as a lurker. I'm checking out army lists too, but the most important thing for me is to play what I like and what fits with the fluff I invented for my craftworld, and that may not always be the "optimal" choice. If I ever choose to go to tournaments I may be willing to adapt a bit, but so far I've seen no reason to.

This is a little delayed, but Welcome. I'm relatively newly signed up too, long time reader of these forums though. Being welcomed is a nice feeling, so I wanted to comment that it's nice that you've been going out of your way to welcome other new members.

Thanks! I like to treat people the way I'd like to be treated myself, and feeling welcome is always nice. It seems we agree on that!
