May need to replace key word Heretic Astartes with Daemon. Having said that I am not sure what key words Magnus and Mortarion have.
|
Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you. |

Well I prefer to think this is the unpossessed version. Or at least he one that is not totally possessed by the Laer Daemon.

Very, very underwhelming at the moment. Look at Magnus and Morty; they both have unique abilities that add a bit of flavour to them, Magnus through his psychic shenanigans, and Morty's insane resilience and area buffs, whereas your version of Fulgrim is just pretty much a guy with a mediocre loadout (mediocre for a Primarch anyway).

Stats seem ok, maybe a bit more movement will help/
Wargear
Blade of the Laer S +2 AP -5 D 3 . Role 2 D6 everytime Fulgrim fights. On a double Fulgrim suffers a mortal wound and cannot attack with this weapon this turn. On any other role Fulgrim makes this number of additional attacks
I don't think Fulgrim even uses the Laer Blade anymore, but I'd give it a bit more versatility to it. The buff you have at the moment is rather insane, as on average you'd be spouting out 15 attacks!
Firebrand Assault 3 Range 18" S 5 AP -2 D 1 Any unsaved wounds caused by this weapons cause an extra shot to be fired.
Again, bit underwhelming. I suggest the following.
Range 12" (It is a pistol after all), S5 Ap-2 D1, Assault 6. Inflict an additional hit on the target for every model removed as a casualty. These additional hits cannot themselves cause extra hits.
The Gilded Panoply Fulgrim has a 5+ invlunerable but a 3+ invulnerable save in the fight phase. If Fulgrim suffers any unsaved wounds in the fight phase the unit that caused it suffer a -1 reduction to their Weapon skill.
-1 to hit isn't that good at all. Change it to "5+ Invuln, 3+ in Fight Phase. If any save is passed on the roll of a 6, the unit inflicting the hit immediatly suffers a Mortal Wound.
Special Rules
Sire of the Emperors Children: All units with the Emperors Children Keyword within 8" may re-roll all rolls to hit and wound.
Phoenicians Pride: All units with the Emperors Children Keyword within 8" may use Fulgrims leadership
Fleet: When Advancing roll 2D6 instead of one.
These three rules make sense. Nothing wrong there.
Sublime Swordsman: For every unsaved wound Fulgrim causes in the fight phase on an enemy character roll a D6. On a 3+ he gains a wound back; up to his starting total.
Maybe a bit much, considering the number of characters out there now. Something more unique that could benefit Emperor's Children around him, maybe something to do with Noise Marines would be better.

I like the movement, maybe give him 3d6 advance /

Also allow Fulgrim to advance and charge. His aura buff for reroll hit and wounds is just a more powerful clone of Guillimans. Needs some individuality. Lets say, when an enemy units attacks an emperors children unit within 9 inches of fulgrim, -3 from their weapon skill. This can be reduced in culmination with a damage chart ie -3 on 8 wounds, -2 on 5 wounds, -1 on 2 wounds
Sublime Swordsman: For every unsaved wound Fulgrim causes in the fight phase on an enemy character roll a D6. On a 3+ he gains a wound back; up to his starting total.
Instead every time he kills a character, he regains d3 wounds.

I'm not sure his sword should be -5ap d3, Drach'nyen is -3ap and d3d, and is a much more powerful blade. You've given him the potential to cause 57 wounds per fight phase (non of which will get a save) which seems excessive.
