Hello! I was wondering if the Imperial Emplacement created by Forge World had rules at any point in time or if it has always been just a cool terrain piece?

“Victory is not an abstract concept, it is the equation that sits at the heart of strategy. Victory is the will to expend lives and munitions in attack, overmatching the defenders’reserves of manpower and ordnance. As long as my Iron Warriors are willing to pay any price in pursuit of victory, we shall never be defeated.” - The Primarch Perturabo, Master of the Iron Warriors

It's a terrain piece. low walls/obstacles have been covered by the terrain rules of every edition of 40k.

Yes I was simply wondering if it ever had rules attached to it specifically like how games Workshop started giving their normal terrain kits special rules, or how the Forge World Ammo Dump can be used as an ammo Dump from 7th edition Stronghold Assault despite being first made ages before that book was published.

If there have been no official rules have any of you used it in your games and what rules did you use for it then?

Probably a low wall. Like AndrewGPaul said, each edition have something that covers this and other similar terrain pieces. Sounds like this was never meant to have special rules like the Aegis Defence Line. It's more like the Imperial Sector where it's just a cool terrain piece.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Cool guys thanks, I am thinking of getting one (or more) just wanted to know if there was any rules associated with it. Guess they will either be cool terrain or pulled for narrative games
