We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I find the horror vibe very weird, I was not expecting that at all. If anything, I figured New Mutants might go even more towards the classic comic book style than the recent X-men trilogy. Not necessarily against the tone, but I'll be interested to see if they can pull it off without compromising the X-verse style and feel.
They could go all Phalanx Covenant for New Mutants, would be appropriate, and scratch that horror itch. Looking forward to it, but will watch the trailer later.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Sadly she does not seem to have any of her powers or fighting skills and a "scary hospital" should not be anything more than mildy amusing to someone who as been in hell since she was 6!

Cautiously optimistic about this. I like them going the horror route instead of the usual tired super hero tropes that have been done to death already.

I am also this question. I don't know if I buy it. New Mutants is probably the label that could do it, but I don't know if I'm into a horror movie via comic books.
