Kill tank - good and cheap. Good choice.
Grot tanks of all sorts - unfortunetly too expensive weapon choices. And 2d6 movement - no comment on this.

Kill tank is a huge win for us right now.
I have used it in several games now and to great effect each time.
i have personally had more luck with the bursta Cannon, but the gigashoota has its place too.
Its nice that you can still get decent shooting outta it even if there are -hit modifiers about.
I think i would take the gigashoota mostely for Nids and horde armies. Mow down some venomthropes.

I have made good use of its combat capabilities as well, Reliable mortal wounds
and high strength attacks hitting on 2s is pretty good and based on the wording of the rule seems you
can pick any model you successfully charge so i guess you could apply D3 to a character .
Last game i loaded it up with Ghazzy and nobz, was a good shock unit

I think its one of the only truely good units we got at a decent point cost.
hoping the release full rules for Kustom meka dread soon too.
double supa skorcha would be awesome.

You can load Ghazzy into a Kill Tank? Lol... I think I know which deathstar to run when I pick up my Orks again

Yup you can fairly easily get into peoples faces with the killtank too.
move 12" and fire. then next turn Disembark units, move the tank and use it to charge a killy unit and charge in your killsquad afterwards. Ghazzy, 6 nobs/runts, banner nob.
Worked well and the Tank does some decent work on its own, in fact i expect it to get better once they give it the same AP modification as the battlewagon.
Why wouldn't the bigger killier tank have that.

That said, you have it be your only armored threat, as far as superheavies go its really not that tough so try to have a few things flying at them at the same time like Mekadread
or battlewagon full of dakka. (or MegaNobs) people dont yet understand that meganobs are not that scary so they will fear meganobs.

Correction to my previous statement about killtank contents: ghaz, 5 nob/4runt, bannernob 12 models of space. nobs had big choppas and 1 claw

Still standing by the excellent shokk troop thing too. Killtank charge is fun.

Killtank is certainly good, but not great (using the bursta loadout). I find it great against infantry/heavy infantry, but it's certainly not a reliable armor cracker. D2 just doesn't seem to do enough when hitting as infrequently as it does.

I also find it strange that it's a superheavy that can be easily tied up in melee. It should be able to disengage and fire imo.

If you're going to take a killtank, consider taking 2-3 for target saturation.

Supa-Skorcha Big Trakk is my star of the show right now.

Every game it has either made its points back or taken so much fire away from my boyz that it was well worth it.

My advice is build one. It will please you.

Praise be to Dark Sphere savior of cheapskates!

What about the kill tank? Bursta cannon or giga shoota?

I can't believe it's way cheaper than nauts. One big ork unit fairly priced, it can't be true
