Sacrifice to the Dark God Tzeentch

Columbus, OH

Greetings! I'm completely new to wargaming and 40K. I was very attracted to the grim darkness of 40K in particular, bought a small set of marines to try building and painting and now I'm instantly hooked. I plan to build an army of Thousand Sons and Tzeentch Daemons. The color scheme and lore of the reluctant chaos marines turned space-dust attracted me. I'm going to start with the Start Collecting! box for Tzeentch and build Rubrics from there. If there are any TS players that can offer advice on what units are good to start with, please share!

Brand new player!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

I'm a fan of Thousand Sons too, but haven't made any for an army yet (I play to make a 30k/ Horus Heresy army of them). Have you read the Black Library book "A Thousand Sons" by Graham McNeill? That's my favorite of all the Horus Heresey books I've read so far, and what made the Thousand Sons my favorite legion.
