so... has anyone else wondered why FFG have been so quiet in regards to anything star wars related in particular XWing & Armada?

G4H was last mentioned about two months ago (15/08/17) announced 24/07/17
Wave 12 announced 21/08/17
Wave 13 announced 08/09/17
Armada Wave 7 announced 25/09/17

don't get me wrong the stuff from last month i wouldn't expect much news coming that soon, but the stuff from August maybe but still no confirmed release date for G4H which was announced back in July...

Guns for Hire was finally confirmed, in a roundabout way. According to FFG's Facebook page, there will be a Guns for Hire release tournament at the FFG Games Center in Roseville on October 25th from 7pm to Midnight, at which point Guns for Hire will be available for purchase. So, taking that at face value, we're looking at an October 26th release for the general public. Seen here: https://www.facebook.com/events/125021264872445/?ti=icl

As for why no news, who knows? Maybe they're just waiting for the G4H release to have its opening week before slamming the meta with the nerfbat. Also perfectly possible that it's petty backlash in response to the playtesters leaking the FAQ plans.

Or maybe they leaked the FAQ to see what the gamers' reactions would be and now can adjust accordingly?

Yeah, I don't think that such a period of time is indicative of anything. And our FLGS has pretty much confirmed he'll have G4H in stock on the weekend of the 28th, just in time for that weird tourney.

Well i'm happy that they've passed the cut off for G4H to be legal in our nationals next weekend.

I think they've decided to focus on disappointing L5R fans with that 'ambitious' launch plan
