Hello everyone, this is my first attempt at a competitive list. It's a bit gimmicky, and I'm still quite new to the game so I would love any feedback about how it should/would perform against different armies.

Spoiler:

++ Supreme Command Detachment, 1,360pts ++

Magnus the Red: Death Hex, Warptime, Weaver of Fates [415pts]

5x Daemon Prince of Chaos with Wings: Malefic talon, Warp bolter [945pts]

I'm considering running them as all tzeentch, a couple however are ambiguously painted enough I could easilly run a nurgle or slaneesh in the mix... thoughts?

++ Supreme Command Detachment 150pts ++

5x Malefic Lord: Warp Flux, Smite [30pts]

++ Battalion Detachment, 490pts ++

Daemon Prince of Chaos: Malefic talon, Warp bolter [165pts]

Herald of Tzeentch on Burning Chariot: Boon of Change, Treason of Tzeentch [130pts]

The Changeling: Boon of Change [100pts]

Blue Horror, 10x Pair of Brimstone Horrors [35pts]

10x Pair of Brimstone Horrors [30pts]

10x Pair of Brimstone Horrors [30pts]

++ Total: [2000pts] ++

I expect I may fall short if the objectives spread me too thin, and my focus may be on gaining control of the board in the early turns and turning to objectives later when there is no one left to contest me. Another potential issue is if someone can alpha strike my 30 brimstone meatshield they can get to the "tasty candy center" fairly easily... not sure how the malefics fair without protection. I have some other daemons available; I considered dropping a prince for some nurgling squads, or perhaps burning chariots, a herald on chariot, or flamers (which would be hard to protect but help immensely against horde).

As always, thank you for reading and I look forward to any input

Edit: wanted to add that I never considered saving a handful of points and using the princes left alive to summon some objective secured troops. I have nurglings, blues, pinks, and plaguebringers remaining (sadly all my brimstones are in use).

Your "meat shield" isn't thick enough to protect anything at 2000 points. Since you don't have any more brims, instead replace them with Blues and split them out. That will double the number of bodies your opponent has to mulch through. Also, it is unlikely that you will get first turn, so you need for your shield to last 2 shooting phases.

You will run into trouble if you come up against an armoured company. I would suggest bringing some exalted flamers to help with both armour and hoard control. Probably drop a DP or two.
