This is my first go at building an army as the BA I've used weren't mine and my buddy helped me with list building. I'm at 1984pts and would like constructive feedback for my list. Thanks in advance.

I believe the Lord of Change is better than Kairos. If you have the option to run either I would do the LoC.

It also saddens me but I've steered clear of using Rubrics. I can never get a squad I'm happy with point-wise. Horrors are just so cheap and effective in the role of troop. I do think Scarab Occult Termies are the way to go. they are comparable points but have a built in transport mechanism that could help Magnus. In my 2000 point I have two units of five.

Most of the answers 1k sons need at the moment are found in the tzeentch side of things. I have found things like Burning Chariots, horrors, the changeling are models are just generally good. Models to think about. Stationary objects like a predator is hard to support unless you build something specific to use them well. But I prefer my sons and chaos to be mobile and fast hitting. Too many other armies do gunline better.

Unless I missed something, Rubrics taken as troop choices come from the index, and they can't take a soulreaper unless they are a 10 man unit. The codex allows a soulreaper in a man squad, but those are elite units not troops.
