I promised a game to a guy next time I was was at our Friendly Local Game Store and decided to face his marines with my CW Aeldari since my other army is also marines and that would be a bit meh.
Trying to put together a more friendly list so I'm not bringing any wraiths or flyers.
Here is what I've gathered up for it, comments and critiques welcome.

Battalion Detachment: 2000 pts

HQ

2x Jetseers with spears.

Troops

4 x 5 Dire Avengers with one of the 20 being an Exarch with glaive and shield. (mounted in Wave Serpents)
4 x Wave Serpents with Bright Lances, Shuriken Canon, Spirit Stones, Vectored Engines and Crystal Targeting Matrix.

Heavy Support

2 x Fire Prism with Shuriken Canon, SS, VE & CTM.

Fast Attack

2 x 6 Windriders with Shuriken Canon.
1 x 3 Windriders with Shuriken Canon.

The Farseers riding along with a 6 windrider unit and the 3 Windrider unit free to grab an objective or reinforce on the fly.

Ruthlessness is the kindness of the wise.

I think, this can be a fluffy-fun list to play against . Not much diversion in choices, but hey: less rules and stats to remember for him .

The list got both anti tank and anti infantry in there but remember: if the Fire Prisms fall, you cant open anything reliably anymore.

Now my ideas:

I don't think Vectored Engines are worth the points at all. But especially if you have BL on those Serpents they don't want to advance ... ever. Same goes for Prims. You can't fire heavy weapons after advancing and the VE only works after advance. That would free up 60 points.

Furthermore: You could change the loadout for your Serpent from TL BL to TL Shurikken Cannons (and spare those 5 points for a CTM) and go for a gunline of maybe DR. They would provide your list more anti tank and anti multi wound infantry (yes I mean you, you Primaris SM xD).

Maybe 2 Jetseers are to much. Switch one of them for a Jetlock and give him Conceal. This could help your Windriders to hold objectives. And when we talk about holding objectives: If one squad wants to go for an objective and stay the rest of the game there: Think about giving them SL (more range, S6 and a shoot more).

Have fun

Agree with Eldarion's suggestions. Def. lose the Vectored engines if you are mounting heavy weapons. If you drop one Jetseer as suggested, you could get some warlocks to cast conceal/reveal and enhance/drain. Or grab an Autarch to get the re-roll 1 buff. Just food for thought.
