Hi Dakka,

Maybe there was already an Update for the FW Index i missed.

Officially they shouldnt have the Hovering Gunship rule, right? But seriously, it is the same model as the Valk, just other weaponry..
I'll probably try to convince people to house rule the Vendetta to use with the Hovering Gunship rule...

How do you guys play Vendettas now at your LGC ? With or without the Hovering Gunship rule?

greetings,

Unless Vendettas get given Roving Gunship in a new book or update then RAW they don't have that ability. See also: Mars Alpha Russes not having Codex version of Grinding Advance, and FW Index Superheavies not getting an extra D6 on their main gun shots. You can always house rule it as you say if your opponent agreed, but it's not in the Vendetta's rules.

It's 'Roving Gunship' and it's a Codex Astra Militarum special rule that got added to the Valkyrie. If it hovers it gets +1 to hit for Shooting.

Per the newest IA FAQ, Vendettas do not gain Roving Gunship (or at least they did not add it to the model).

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Shame. Always pays to keep asking the questions to FW, lest they get forgotten .
