So only the Malanthrope, Broodlord and unit of 16 Genestealers start on the board.
As of first turn though the 2 trygons pop out unleashing a bunch of Devilgaunts and a nice Genestealers unit.
The Tyranocyte drops the Swarmlord who Hive Commanders the Stealers into a garanteed charge.
The Deathleaper assassin brood has the purpose to distract as much as possible while the rests deals with cleaning up.

wait, does 8th edition require this too, I thought that was just 7th.
where in the rulebook does it specify this? I cant seem to find that rule.

You have it backwards. 7th ed had no rules about deepstrikers and it was possible to null deploy.
8th requires 1/2 of your units to be on the board in matched play. Pg 215, Tactical Reserves.

So I let go of the Lictors/Deathleaper and replaced them with Carnifexes to start on the board with their friends and more Genestealers. I like the super low deployment.
