Decided to do the Citadel forest as swamp - first time doing resin water effects so happy with the result - I used Tamiya tape to edge the base to pour the resin and it left a sticky residue on the resin; is there a better tape for doing this?

That is really cool!

Are the trees locked in place with the resin?

Thanks! Yes the tress are set in the resin. Contemplated leaving them detached but didn't think it would give the same effect.

If i were you i would try use something to finish off the base. Even a bit of clump foliage or something to make it so the water doesnt just stop at an edge.

Looks really top end, id love to see a modular piece with a bunch of these in it.

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.

Looking awesome ! Well done.

I've never tried pouring resin like that, and have never had to make barriers so im not experienced, however I saw in a tutorial video a chap who did pouring resin used plastic card barriers which were lightly coated in Petrolleum Jelly, and stated that the Jelly helps it peel away in the end and just needs wiping off after. May work ?
