Hey guys, I bought this massive lot of 40k for a grand, and I came across a bunch of really old metal miniatures. I couldn't identify a few of them, so here they are. Please help and tell me when they were produced, and what they are. Mostly interested in year since there are some miniatures like a weird metal bike, as well as a metal jetbike. Thanks! Here they are:

1. I know this is a vindicate assassin, but what year was this made in? Or at least roughly how old is it?

2. Again, know this is a librarian but what year was this roughly produced?

3. Some sort of jump pack captain. Metal as well so I'm not sure what year.

4. Techmarine that appears to be incredibly old. What year is this from?

5. Another captain I believe. Metal and looks pretty old. What year?

6. I believe this is some sort of black Templar guy. He is a slim fellow. When was this made?

7. This is a terminator chaplain, but what year? Even the pole on the termie is metal.

8. I believe the weapon is a heavy Bolter but that's a weird Bolter.

9. What is this bike and how old is it?! The bike is completely metal, the biker is plastic.

10. This jetblme thing is all metal. I'm actually so confused by what this is. Please tell me both what it is, and when it was made. Thanks!

Vindicare Assassin (2nd ed.)

Tigurius (2nd ed.)

Generic Space Marine Captain (3rd-4th)

Techmarine (2nd ed.)

Space Marine Librarian (Epistolary or Codicier, 2nd ed.)

Black Templar Champion (3rd-4th)

Chaplain in Terminator Armour (2nd ed.)

Space Marine Devastator (2nd ed.)

Old Space Marine Bike w/ new mini (RT bike)

Last one isn't a GW model that I've seen - think it's just a land speeder kit bash.

You can find all of these on Stuff of Legends, the 2nd ed. stuff is generally from 1994-1998.

Ok. Thanks so much! Now I know most of what I got is from 2nd edition. Thanks!

Yep, and most of the character models (if in good shape) can net you $10-15-20 each. More if they're something super limited.

You'll note that stuff like your Tigurius model - the staff is broken, etc. They're all good to be rescued or sold on. I use a ton of 2nd ed. stuff and love rescuing the minis.

Yeah I'd really like to keep them. It's really cool looking once I strip them, and then I'll be able to reprime and reprint them to look good. No one knows what the jet bike is from haha.

You said the body of the big thing is metal? Maybe a game like VOID or something?

Here's some inspiration - I rescued some of those miniatures recently:

Yes indeed. I'll be happy to strip and rebuild these guys. I'll have some great looking metal 2nd edition models soon. Hahahahaha
