*hysterical giggling from his Mechanicus forces*
Also, looking at the pipe bits, that's another Rumour Engine solved - the cannisters. Automatically Appended Next Post: Two, actually. Doors things has the smol bomb things. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also Also.....
Would it kill them to give us some ramps for the Sector Mechanicus gubbins?

We'll have to see whether that big combined Sector Mechanicus kit is economical or not.
But Plasma Conduits and Regulators? Yes! Give me lots. Two of each at least!!!

I doubt you'll get ramps because they went with a rather absurd 5" height for their levels...meaning a ramp would be 14-16" just to let models stand on it without falling over. They could use several turning versions but they'd cost as much as the normal pieces.

Ooo thanks for the pic. Knew I should have checked the war-com site. $660 usd isn’t cheap, but that’s really a big bundle of terrain. The box it comes in must be gigantic

Already posted in another thread. The Promethium Refinery is $115 USD, $190 AUS. New pipes are $35 USD, $60 AUS.
Is it a good value? Depends on how many sprues there are in the box.

GW does sell those but you might want to resist doing it that way. Instead, buy this big set and see if you can trade away your "bulby things" for more space corridors and... yea, let's not go there.
Anyway, I did a quick survey of the image in the WD and it seems to break down like this:
2x Arches - http://i.imgur.com/gLZKK5e.jpg
1x Furnace - http://i.imgur.com/4g9lvTz.jpg
1x Stack dome - http://i.imgur.com/4tWXdEG.jpg
2x Angled platform - http://i.imgur.com/OrkSFrH.jpg
2x Octagon platform - http://i.imgur.com/K3kqVlY.jpg
2x Straight platform - http://i.imgur.com/slmseeJ.jpg
Edit: I originally thought that the Stack tower - http://i.imgur.com/JUTu4Ur.jpg did not seem to be included in this set. HBMC spotted a piece that comes from that sprue so I think it is safe to assume there is at least one in the set. That brings the sprue estimate to 11 which is an odd number to put in a box. I think there might be only one of the Straight platforms or perhaps as vegeta365 suggests only one of the Octagon platforms although I'm 99% certain there are two in that model pictured.
Okay. Given that the small terrain packs value the sprues at $25 USD each and the large ones were four sprues for $75 USD (buy three get one free) this new pack seems to be a stupendous value with 10 sprues at a $115 (or $11.50 per sprue).
Damn. There goes my Christmas budget.
Anyone see anything I missed?

Nice to get domed tank in a mixed set like this. Wanted to get a couple of them but not with all the extraneous pipework that you get with it.
Anyone know if the Sector Mechanicus set is limited?

I hope you are correct, and I don’t have the white dwarf yet, only the image shown here, but I do own a lot of these kits and to me it looks like there is only 8 sprues. I believe there is 1 stack tower on the bottom floor at the back and think there is only 1 (not 2) arches. But I think there is only 2 octagon sections not 4. So 8 sprues not 10. 8 sprues for £75 is still good vs the £90 you would pay for 2 of the big current sets. However one of the bigger sets is only £35 not £45 like the other 2 so it depends which sprues you would like. This set has none of the straights which the £35 set does have. I find the straights very important, so would always want many of these. A mix of this set and the £35 set is what I would have bought had I not already invested so much into a boards worth. I’m only now finishing my board and may need a big more. I should know soon just in time to decide if I want one (or two). Damn you GW.
I’m case people aren’t aware, most of these sets are currently out of stock for LGS at the moment and not back in stock until mid November. I had assumed due to repackaging for Necromunda but perhaps they had just been behind on casting them and now gearing up to do loads in time for Necromunda?

The terrain bundle (prom refinery) is not cutting it for me. Too expensive for what you get. I'd like to see a 500-600 bundle a la fortress with these kits. I would be all over it.

It is. I have a full ring of the Skull Fortress stuff, but not nearly as many towers (I believe I have 4). I have more gates as well.
Shame that, as it's the most useful sprue out of all of them.
I mean look how many I used in this.

On second thought we might be wrong. I noticed something on the ground floor, under the main superstructure, behind the skull claw thingy.

Hey, don’t pull me into this ‘we’. A few posts above I said one exists and there is only one set of arches. It also only has 2 sprues it hexagons not 4. So 8 sprues I believe not 10. It’s still a good deal for £70 instead of £90. It is effectively 2 of one of the current sets but has a couple of sprues that are different.

I see that now. I also mis-posted about the number of octagon sprues, having two lines for it. The second line was supposed to read: 2x Straight platform - http://i.imgur.com/slmseeJ.jpg and I have corrected it in my original post.
If there is a Stack Tower sprue then there may only be one Straight platform sprue. Or there may be two of everything because we can't see what's on the back side of this thing.
Regardless, this is still an amazing deal for the money and I'll definitely be getting a few.
