I'd rather see GW designed figures be made available.

Huh, looks like the same exact print version and expansions as available under FFG. Wonder if it will even have the fate tokens that were added.

Is Wizkids producing this for them now?

apologies for the google translation....

Friedberg, January 11, 2018: 2018 will be a special year for Talisman of Games Workshop. On the one hand, the mother of all fantasy board games celebrates author Robert Harris 35th anniversary, on the other hand, the talisman world is extended for the first time to new games. Pegasus Games will release four self-developed games with worldwide rights starting in 2018.

1983 appeared the first edition of the legendary fantasy board game Talisman , which quickly gained cult status. Talisman takes players on a fantastic journey through magical lands. The heroes face dangerous battles, discover mysterious items, and perform epic acts in search of the crown of domination.

From 2018, fantastic adventures in the world of Talisman can also be experienced with four new games. The series will be opened in the second half of 2018 by a breeze from Lukas Zach and Michael Palm ( The Dwarfs - The Board Game, Asterix & Obelix - Mission Magic Potion ). This is followed by an expandable card game, a role play and a dice game. A release date for these games is yet to be announced.

For the Pegasus Games, the world of Talisman is not an unknown environment. Together with the Heidelberger Spieleverlag published Pegasus Games 2008, the German version of the 4th Edition. "As fantasy fans we have many exciting adventures with talisman in our youth", remembers Andreas Finkernagel, CEO of Pegasus Spiele. "All the more we are now pleased to expand the world of Talisman with new games."

Pegasus Games is also the exclusive distributor of the English 4th Edition Talisman board game in Europe and leads in addition to the basic game also the extensions The Reaper , The Blood Moon , The City , The Woodland and The Harbinger in the assortment.

..guessing breeze there might possibly mean release..?

.. Talisman RPG then eh ..?

Seems such an obvious thing to do it's somewhat surprising that, AFAIK, it hasn't been done before.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Breeze - Kinderspiel in the original, which when it's not figurative (Google ccn't tell the difference) means kids' game. So the first game in that series will be aimed at the young'uns.

Nehekhara lives! Sort of!

They will have my interest if they release GW minis with it. Nothing more, nothing less!

The original characters were all drawn from the Warhammer Fantasy setting. Really, the only thing that wouldn't fit is the Crown of Command itself. So WFRPG would have worked fine in the past if someone had wanted to do roleplay based off of the board game.

Timescape was one of the original batch of expansions that could get your character flung through time and space while hunting for the Crown of Command: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1743/talisman-timescape
