The rules mention that I need to take one Sisters HQ for every 3 non HQ "units". Now, if I take a dedicated transport does that count as a "unit" or is that simply an upgrade? It makes a big difference to how feasible the army is to field as I currently have 4 units of infantry in four tanks. So is that 4 or 8 units? I mean if it's 8 then it's almost impossible to field a Sisters army as you have a limit on the number of HQ choices available.

Dedicated Transports never use up a force organization slot unless they have a rule that says. In this case, as there is only one dedicated transport available for the Sisters of Silence, the Kharon Pattern Acquisitor, I could find no such rule under its description.

Remember that the Cadre Structure rule (1 HQ/3 non-HQ units) only applies to units with the Company-Cadre rule. Even if the Kharon Pattern Acquisitor was a separate unit, it does not have the Company-Cadre rule.

I really hate Book VII: Inferno.

The Acquisitor doesn't have the company-cadre rule, ergo it isn't effected by the limit.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.
