Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows of any sites/forums that connect people who are looking to swap minis for painting, i.e "I'll paint your Rhino for you if you paint by tac squad".?

Cheers

Is there much demand for that?

I can see demand for trading stuff for painting, i.e. "I'll give you a Rhino to paint my tac squad". I've done that before

People have occasionally organised a paint swap, where a group gets together and everybody sends a model to another (random, or in a "chain") person so that everybody ends up with a new, sometimes converted, miniature. You could probably try starting a thread in a forum (in the paining section) where you are comfortable with to get something like that started. Usually it take some time to organise, then swap addresses (and some people don't like sending their address to random people), and send stuff. Sometimes people post "before" pictures of their conversion/miniature and then the person painting the miniatures posts the "after" picture once they are done.

People usually have enough stuff to paint on their own so it's not something that has "staying power" but can be a fun event once in a while.

That's why i was wondering if there was something already out there, to see if there currently is a demand. I don't mind painting vehicles but hate painting infantry squads. So i put off painting infantry and it doesn't get done. If i found someone who liked painting infantry but hated doing vehicles and we were a similar level of painter we could swap and both our armies would be (maybe) painted a lot faster and no money would have to trade hands
