Having primaris marine models represent normal marines?

How usual is it? I could see people wanting to play with the new primaris models but not liking the rules thusly having them represent normal marines.

Are you doing this? Have you seen someone doing this?

I'm building an longfangs squad out of a box of reivers. The skull helms look bad-ass on a heavy weapons squad and the models look like they might actually carry the plas canons and las cannons. I'd advise anyone who's a fan of scale to use primaris marines to tote heavy weapons. They don't look like they're about to tip over.

So long as you represent all wargear, and don't field any actual Primaris units, I'd be okay with it.

I'm doing the opposite and having regular Marines represent my Primaris.

Just don't have other Primairs, and try to avoid having other non-Primaris, to keep things consistent!
