Now I build my armies and play them from their fluff pov, meaning that a lot of the time what they have is because of a specific reason, and the narrative forges the force, with each battle becoming a part of their history.

Primaris stuff has never even interested me in the least, my Salamanders don't have a need for them and neither do my space wolves so I never really looked into them past knowing what they are and how to deal with them.

Then I saw a video today about the possibility that some primaris may not be based on legitimate geneseed like everyone was lead to believe. A conspiracy theory to be sure but that caught a bit of awesome fluff idea running through my head. The idea that primaris marines are supposed to be incorruptible to chaos, how would they know that unless they tested it. And how best to test said theory than to make a few primaris marines based on some geneseed from one of the traitor legions?

So a loyal new chapter of primaris only based on say Horus's geneseed. That sounds cool, and it would be something that could lead to other things down the line. But they would not just make such a force and set it loose, that would be stupid on top of idiotic. So what kind of force would they need to "babysit" this primaris army to be sure they don't go evil? I would think that a sisters of battle force would fit the bill perfectly, there isn't a lot of history that I am aware of where sisters went to chaos. Only notable time I remember is a group that were under mind control from a tzeench deamon and after the deamon was killed I think they killed themselves to repent for what they did even though they didn't have any control of their actions.

So what the force would look like is a 50/50 between sisters and primaris. I am thinking of getting the dark imperium for the start of the primaris force, then getting some retributor squads and immolator tanks for the sisters part. I don't plan on using any special characters since something like this no "big wig" would probably sign off on if they knew the truth. Finally I am thinking a simple cannoness and an inquisitor for hq's, along with primaris hq's, and using raven guard as the marine chapter since horus was a master tactician and their chapter trait seems to fit well to that.

Any suggestions for this endeavor? Does it sound interesting to you folks or would you look at it and go "well, this should be an easy win"
